Welcome to the Happy Hoppers and our "Mob". (A mob is a family of kangaroos!)
Our beginner lessons run for 15 weeks each fall. We meet every Tuesday evening in the cafeteria of our local Totem Middle School in Marysville, WA.
You don't need a partner — our experienced dancers (aka "angels") rotate in to fill in!!

Dates: Tuesdays, 6:45 - 9:00 PM
Logistics: First half: lesson; second half: practice
What to wear: Comfortable shoes — no special outfits needed
The lesson series covers the Callerlab Mainstream calls — the standard moves that let you drop into a Mainstream dance anywhere in the country.

Affordable package or per-session pricing; the club keeps fees low because we want lessons to be accessible.
Happy Hopper Student Club Badge
Students have an opportunity to purchase a student club badge just like the club members wear! They come with a "student" bar that helps identify the learners so that dancers in all clubs recognize and help. The badges also have holes for all the dangles you may receive during your student dancing journey! So fun!
Participate in carpools, chats, games, internal Hopper marketplace and access to many other many features.
We bring skirts and petticoats to initial lessons so anyone who wants to twirl can borrow one. Free, friendly, and always available if out!
We host a super fun club potluck to celebrate our students! We have a HUGE EXPERIENCED CLOTHING GIVEAWAY, play games/win prizes and a great time!

Students are encouraged to get "floor time." This is possible by attending dances hosted by other clubs. For students there are level dances (doesn't include all square dance calls).

Another way to get floor time is to set your sights a Round Tuit dangle!.
All you have to do is dance at 10 different clubs in Mt. Baker Council within 1 year. Present the signature sheet at the sign in desk of the club you visit to collect a signature. Just 10 will do it. Click here for the form. Here are some Hoppers last year getting theirs!
